INTERNATIONAL ARBITRATION

Saudi Arabia is a member of various international arbitration agreements such as the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law “UNCITRAL” of which Saudi was a member to in 1992 and the United Nations Convention on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards “New York Convention” of which Saudi Arabia ratified in 1994, which encourage the recognition of foreign arbitral awards.  

SAUDI ARBITRATION

Saudi Arabia established arbitration regulation “Saudi Arbitration Law” by a Royal Decree No (M/34) Dated 24 Rabe’a Awal 1433 H Corresponding 16 April 2012, creating a solid platform to resolve disputes offered to local and international companies with utmost progressive arbitration processes and procedures incompliance with international arbitration standards recognized globally.

GCC COUNTRIES

Gulf Cooperation Council established a Commercial Arbitration Center in Bahrain in December 1993 and came into force in 1995. This Center aims to resolve commercial disputes between members of the GCC countries or between members of GCC and non-GCC members, whether the dispute is between legal persons or legal entities.
